THE STORY

Triton Action Underway In Monaco

Triton Poker's latest stop is in full swing in Monaco, where the top high-stakes tournament grinders are already battling it out at the tables.

Triton have made a name for themselves by being the highest buy-in tournament series with buy-ins ranging from $15K to $200K. The structures are fast to accommodate the recreational player pool, and the event itself is organized with a meticulous level of detail, matching the standards for the highest level of buy-ins.

The series kicked off with a $25K NLH event that attracted 170 entries and a $4.425 million prize pool where the World Series Main Event final tabler Brian Kim claimed his first Triton trophy and $941,000 in cash.

The 2nd event of the series, the $30k NLH 8-max, saw 144 entries and Kayhan Mokri ended up victorious, adding his name to the list of first time Triton winners. Mokri got $1,005,000 for his efforts after beating a stacked final table that featured Patrick Antonius and Alex Kulev, amongst others.

Danny Tang received the Triton Player of the Year trophy, along with a $200,000 prize, named in honor of the late Ivan Leow. In the previous Triton Series season, Tang achieved 19 cashes, secured 2 titles, and earned a total of $10,361,200.
